Created: Sector 17 was created to represent the modern Chandigarh with a number of shopping arcades, government offices, banks etc. The credit goes to Le Corbusier and his team in keeping such space in the heart of the beautiful city of Chandigarh to fulfill all types of requirements of the locals as well as the visitors. The government emporium of Haryana “Phulkari” from where people could select the specialties of this place is also located in Sector 17.

It has got shops of known and known brands, Shopping malls like KC, TDI etc., movie halls, restaurants, banks, discos and pubs. By Road: One can enjoy the striking road trip to this beautiful city utilizing the national highways. One of them is No.21 linking up Kinnaur and Ambala and another one is No. 22 connecting Leh and Chandigarh. By Train: Chandigarh is linked to many vital cities. Shatabdi Express and Himalayan Queen are two daily trains that link Chandigarh with the India Capital.
