Created: It is stated that in the year 1659, Guru Har Rai came to this place to meet his follower, Bhai Kooram. On the occasion of Sakrant, which comes during the first month of the year (January), a fair takes place in the Amb Sahib Gurdwara to commemorate Guru ji. Hoards of devotees come and visit the place every year.
About the place: This is a historical Gurudwara in the loving memory of the seventh Sikh Guru, who once came here to sanctify this place and to fulfill his promise with Bhai Kooram ji, lobana by caste, an occupant of Village Lambian, when he went to Amristsar to pay homage to the 5th Guru of Sikhs, Shri Guru Arjan Dev ji. Then following the request of Bhai Kooram ji, Guru Arjan Dev ji gave assurance to come to his place in his 7th Avatar. This great place honors the journey of Guru Sahib.
